Hi! My name is Mackenzie, I’m 23, and I “Live With Teal”. I began experiencing severe facial pain at a young age and was later diagnosed with Trigeminal Neuralgia. Over the last 8 years, this disease has turned my life upside down. I’ve always had a passion for writing and since my diagnosis, it has really helped me cope with the situation. Through sharing my thoughts, I’ve had the pleasure of meeting many other people with TN. Creating a network of people navigating life with facial pain has been an incredibly fulfilling and healing experience. I can confidently say that, if I hadn’t met this community, I wouldn’t be here today.
