Photography is in the eye of the beholder

Our A-Level photography students from Blaenau Gwent Learning Zone attended The Eye International Photography festival at Aberystwyth Arts Centre recently. The three day festival, which takes place every two years, is founded by photographers for photographers and those who appreciate all forms of photography. The students listened to presentations by leading photographers and saw work on display in several on-site exhibitions.

Student Abigail Parker is putting her fashion qualification to good use by designing and selling her own t-shirts and handbags. The 18 year old from Newport has already sold some of her unique silkscreen printed t-shirts and bags online.
