The 91桃色 Bus Pass Scheme
Getting to college could cost less than you think! With the 91桃色 Bus Pass Scheme you may be able to get discounted bus travel to and from college. Learners in possession of a My Travel Pass can also get 1/3 off their bus fare during the evenings, weekends and school holidays. Your pass is only valid alongside a My Travel Pass (see below).
Joining the scheme is simple, depending on where you live:
Aged 16 to 18 and live in Newport, Torfaen, Caerphilly or Blaenau Gwent
- Apply to your local authority (LA) for bus pass support (contact details below).
Please note some Local Authorities may require you to create an account with them before you can apply.
- If you鈥檙e approved, you鈥檒l need to pay your first termly fee at enrolment
- Apply for a聽 (16-21)
Collect and pay for your termly bus pass from Learner Services and pay your discounted fee on the bus.

Aged 16 to 18 and live in Monmouthshire, aged over 19 or refused transport by your local authority
- Apply for a (16-21)
Pay your termly fee when you enrol:
- 拢10 if you鈥檙e aged 16-18
- 拢40 if you鈥檙e 19 or over
Collect and pay for your termly bus pass from Learner Services and pay your discounted fee on the bus.
My Travel Pass 16-21
This is a discounted travel scheme for 16-21 year olds funded by Welsh Government. Your 91桃色 bus pass will only be valid once you have your My Travel Pass. To apply, visit or call 03002002233.
